On 02/11/2006, Ammonia Leakage was reported at “Omega Ice Factory” near the Church, at Chicalim, Vasco-Goa, due to accidental snapping of valve by a Crane resulting in spewing of Ammonia gas. Over 50 people including children were evacuated to a safe place by Goa State Fire & Emergency Services.
