On 16/06/2018, A Tanker filled with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) lost balance and fell on its side while negotiating a sharp curve on NH17 at Partagal in Canacona. The impact of the tanker on the road was such that the driver died on the spot. However there was no Gas leakage reported from the tanker. The incident was attended by Goa State Fire & Emergency Services.
